Performance Studies on Stone Mastic Asphalt Mixes with Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement

Stone mastic asphalt (SMA) is a gap graded mix which categorised by more quantity of coarse aggregate, high content and fibre. Due to stone on contact presences filler content, it acts as stiff matrix reduces the rutting due heavy traffic load. This research presents study fatigue performance RAP replaced SMA mixes using VG 30 binder along with elastomer modifier results were compared conventional mix. The specimens prepared tested several laboratory test procedures: Marshall design, indirect tensile strength, moisture susceptibility, drain down Repeated load test. Test showed Properties improved up 30% without 60% elastomeric modifier. From susceptibility results, modified resistance damage when replacement was conducted for different stress temperature offered deformation across all level optimum As loading increased resulted in decrease number cycles initial strain percentage addition decreased.
